Dita Teases in 3D Dress

This is an odd creation for sure, and well deserving of an honorable mention.
Burlesque dancer Dita Von Tease unveiled her 3D dress at an event hosted at the Ace Hotel earlier this month. The dress a collaboration with the Francis Bitonti Studio and New York designer Michael Schmidt and Shapeway.

The gown has nearly 3000 unique articulated joints and is adorned with over 12,000 Swarovski crystals. The floor-length nylon gown was made using selective laser sintering (SLS), where material is built up in layers from plastic powder fused together with a laser.

That s*** cray.
